As I age more, more pores are getting larger. I have sensitive skin, are pore strips ideal or what do you guys use?

Pore strips will only damage your skin more and make your pores appear bigger because it stretches out the skin. It's normal for pores to become enlarged as we age. Our body produces less collagen and elastin, leading to a loss of elasticity, sagging skin and noticeably larger pores. What you can do to minimize the appearance is to keep pores clear by exfoliating regularly with BHA and use ingredients that supports skin firming such as peptides, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and retinoids. Keeping skin hydrated makes pores appear smaller too, so I recommend using hydrating toners and sheet masks. Don't forget sunscreen, as it'll help prevent UV damage which can age skin more. Since you have sensitive skin, go for peptides and hyaluronic acid first as they typically aren't irritating to the skin. Exfoliate with salicylic acid (BHA) 1-2 times a week. You can also use a low strength BHA (<2%) in case of sensitivity.

This is what I found online: retinol, and chemical peels (salicylic acid, vitamin A) are what you should be looking for. And always wearing sun cream during the day. Don't just rely on the comments here, and make your own research online.

I have the same problem. Been using cleansing oil to pull out sebum that's clogging them up. Mixsoon bean essence is a gentle but super effective exfoliator too.
