Dry/Resilient

Here are some great options! They have low concentration and are encapsulated, meaning it's also formulated with other ingredients to help lower the redness and irritation from the retinol!

Dry/Resilient

You should start at a 0.2 or 0.5 percentage of retinol. When you first start I suggest using the sandwich method: cleanser, serum, moisturizer, retinol, moisturizer. Use this method so there won’t be any irritation. These are great products for beginners 👇🏼👇🏼

These are great retinol first timer picks! Personally, the inkey list is my favorite. It's more of a thick serum and absorbs quickly. Doesn't leave my face sticky. The versed one is thicker, light lotion consistency. I think the inkey list is more cost effective. I could have gotten a bad one but I feel like my versed barely had any product in it. I just tried out the TO, its more oily. Even though my skin tends to be on the drier side it was almost too much for me. I would wake up in the middle of the night and still feel a bit sticky but by morning I was good.

I would love to recommend COSRX Retinol Serum. Though its named Retinol, it has Retinyl Palmitate a Retinol derived ingredient as a key ingredient. It's gentle for beginner and minimize irritation or drying your skin

I have recently just started to use a retinol in my routine and this one has been lovely as it’s not harsh at all☺️☺️

if you have acne, adapalene would really help to reduce them within a few months. for me personally adding onto that my skin is less oily too
