Silica in Skincare?

Hi Guys! May I know ypur thoughts of having silica in skin care products. I'm currently using a sun screen containg silica. Is it good or bad? Thank you! ☺️

Hello, the products with Silica are safe to use. This is a component included for its opacifying properties (the products make your skin look blurry after applying). Also it may thicken the texture of the product. It is a harmless ingredient that doesn't do anything to the skin in any way, because it just sits on the surface. Hope this helps!

I love sunscreen with silicon inside ! Silicon is one occlusive ingredients which help to seal and lock moisture and prevent TEWL , so its good .

Hmmm depends on your skin. Somebody can't use it because it didn't safe for their skin, like trigger acnes. As long your skin tolerate them, you can use it. Also, silicon is more moisturizing for skin.
