SA Cleanser for Closed Comedones?

I always see small bumps in my forehead, jawline and sometimes side of my cheeks. Then I was able to identify it as closed comedones. I saw a video saying Salicylic Acid can help with that. I'm currently using the Cerave SA Renewing Cleanser right now. Do you think that's enough to treat those closed comedones? Or should I use a sepearte BHA product?

Personally, a salicylic acid cleanser was not enough to treat my closed comedones mainly on my forehead. I tried using only a salicylic acid cleanser for 1 month (Inkey List one) but I barely seen results - used it like 3 times a week. So, I think... For better and faster results, a leave-on BHA can guarantee you full results But, if you think your skin is sensitive or you are new to actives like salicylic acid Stick to your SA cleanser, give it some time to work like months, especially given that it is in a wash off form - cleanser Hope I answered your question! P.S. I know how annoying it is to have CCs on your face, I've been dealing with it for months, and after 5 months of BHA, interchanging with adapelene, I can finally see results, that's why find the best products for your skin, and stick to those for full time results Thank you for reading till the end💗, wishing you all the best🙏

What helped for me when my skin was at this stage was gently, daily exfoliation with a facial brush. I found the gently exfoliation was helpful with lifting skin cells, dirt, oil and it helped the products do their job.

I have cerave salycic acid cleanser but I also think adapalene and benzoyl peroxide or epiduo depends which way you want to use really helped bring mine to surface I'm not targeting the pigmentation it's left behind xx

I used to have the same issue before and while I also used Cerave cleanser, What worked well for me is the oil control foaming facial cleanser and after cleansing, I applied a leave on BHA. Please note that if you are using BHA for the first time, use it 2-3x a week and subsequently adjust your usage from there, depends on how your skin will react to it. Hope this helps!
