HYPERPIGMENTATION, DAMAGE SKIN BARRIER AND SKIN TEXTURED

I struggle on acne this past couple of months , I used so many products and nothing's work. I bought mostly popular brand name on skincare. But it doesn't work at all. I switch on rejuvinating set, works but it damage my skin barrier and now hyperpigmentation and skin texture is my problem. Do you have any recommendation or products that can help to repair my skin and improve my skin texture.? I badly need it โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Oily/Sensitive

Letโ€™s focus on what your skin needs most right now, which is barrier repair. To do this, go with a minimal routine that doesnโ€™t contain harsh actives. AM - water rinse or cleanser (depending on if you feel oily) - moisturizer - sunscreen PM - cleanser - moisturizer Cleanser: opt for a low pH, gel cleanser (suitable for sensitive, oily skin). Moisturizer: choose one that is light enough for your oily skin, but emollient enough to help with barrier repair. I tagged a few that may be suitable for you. Sunscreen: This is a must! It can also help (preventatively) with hyperpigmentation. Choose something lightweight without alcohol. Potential irritants to avoid for sensitive/ damaged barrier: essential oils, fragrance, alcohol (ethanol), exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA), benzoyl peroxide, vitamin c, retinoids.

products with retinol for sure! It helps to speed up cell turnover and collagen production, and also in uneven skin texture and skin tone

if you damaged your skin barrier, cut most some products that might be harsh on your skin. I would suggest use a gentle cleanser. and also, I when I damaged my skin barrier, I used this cosrx one to heal my concern. After your barrier has healed, you can use Vitamin C, niacinamide, or alpha arbutin to treat your hyperpigmentations. Don't forget the sunscreen!

me too! It took months before I see some visible effect on my PIH. but I still use it to reduce sebum production since I have oily skin.
