tips for preventing rosacea flares from masks?

Hello everyone! This is my first post here so I hope I’m doing it right. For my job I have to wear the typical blue surgical masks every day, and I am physically moving around a lot during my shift so as a result I get really sweaty and itchy under the mask and my rosacea flares nearly every shift. My job won’t let me use any other type of mask, so I was wondering if anyone had any tips for preventing flares? Thanks!!

hi, I have rosacea 😊 I found using a calming serum in my morning routine really helped to keep my skin calm and reduce the redness. unfortunately, flare ups are inevitable as rosacea isn’t curable, but it is manageable. my rosacea always flares up with a face mask! I make sure I use a calming serum with licorice root which helps my redness, and I finish with my usual holy grail moisturiser. as soon as I take my mask off, I wash my face. I have an Instagram account where I share lots about rosacea and flare ups if you wanted to give it a follow, it’s @skincarenimiii 💗
