Cerave Hydrating facial cleanser breakout and irritation

So 4 days ago I got my Cerave Hydrating Cleanser. And used it as my second step of double cleansing then I woke up with tiny rushes on my forehead, neck and chin. 1 day after, they look like closed comedones. I still have them. 2 days after, I used again the cleanser and voila it is really the cerave hydrating cleanser that causes the irritation. Has anyone had the same experience? I had been using the cerave foaming cleanser from normal to oily skin for 2 months now.. Never had issue before but I don't want to go back to any cerave cleanser. I am now on hunt and currently using the cosrx low ph cleanser but it is bit stripping and drying. Hope you can help me find the right one for me πŸ˜”πŸ˜” My skin skin is very sensitive 😣😣

Cerave Foaming Face Cleanser and Cerave Hydrating Cleanser has different formulas. The foaming cleanser as it name suggested also contains Niacinamide while the Hydrating one is very hydrating. If you had no problems with the Foaming Face version just stick with it. The Hydrating Cleanser does not clean very well since it was not made to really strip the skin or as a second cleanser. It leaves a thin layer of film that keep skin moisturized from my experience of using it. I haven’t used the Foaming Cleanser but I believe it leaves the skin without a film.
