layering zinc

I tried using zinc and peptide in the same routine because I watched a video on picky's YouTube channel that stated that they help even out skin tone when combined. the potions peptide serum has copper so I'm not sure if it goes well with zinc. how do you layer zinc?? is it an active ingredient?

They should be fine together. Here’s a screenshot from the Deciem website, they have a peptide with copper and it shows the contraindications ❤️
