I do adore pimple patches as well. If the pimple is at the surface it also only takes bout a day or 2 and it'll be gone.
For blind pimples on the other hand, I don't like using pimple patches. It feels like it's swelling some more whenever i have a pimple patch on. I prefer some leave on acne treatments.
Regarding your question, does acne need to breathe?
- Well breathe, basically means not clogging the pores or non comedogenic. With the puss already plug in there, I don't think putting on pimple patches will make much of a difference, pimple patches even help "un clog " the pores ( for pimples that's about to pop ).
- But for blind pimples, i do prefer letting it take it's course since pimple patches will do nothing for it.

so do you use pimple patches full time till it’s gone? pimple patches are really effective because they prevent you to pick or touch a pimple. but they only work when pimple has a head and ready to pop. Then it allows them to extract all the gunk out of them and heal. if you don’t have a picking problem, I would suggest you tu use pimple in later stages. but the micro needle one can be used from start
but I don’t think pimple patches can harm your skin

I don’t think that you are suffocating your skin then. I find pimple patches helpful coz I tend to touch my acne a lot

Yes, I would apply acne treatments or skin healing products intermittently to speed up healing.

Pimple patches for me are incredibly useful for not picking at my acne and creating a scar that will last months! yeck.
I probably use 2-4 per pimple. Maybe more depending on how big the pimple is. I will try to remove at night so it can oxygenate but I haven’t seen a difference whether I keep it on or remove. That’s just personal experience though!
