Bumps around the mouth area

Hi friends✨🤍 I am almost 4 months post accutane. I have this tiny bumps around my mouth. It’s not those painful pimples but I’m unsure what it is. I use a PHA serum 2/week and on different days I use the Cerave retinol serums 2/week. Is the Cerave retinol too harsh to use near the mouth area, cos I do try to avoid the mouth area but I don’t use balms/ vaseline to protect the mouth area.

This is kind of random, buy try changing your toothpaste. I used a brand called Colgate for years and recently switched to Crest and I started breaking out around my mouth and chin nonstop. I came across a thread online where people talked about toothpaste brands being the cause of their mouth/chin acne, which rung a bell for me. I switched back to Colgate and haven't had a breakout since!

maybe your diet? Whenever I eat a lot of candy and butter and greasy foods I get them too, especially after waxing 😬

cerave retinol is gentle so you might try it between two layers of moisturizer

yeah that’s true i believed it to be gentle so only on the first night, i tried using the sandwich method. thereafter, i used a pea sized amount and used directly on my skin after a light toner. Is the cerave retinol causing a purging?
