Curology Dupe

Hi guys! So I recently tried curology for their free trial because my skin was really not having it. Originally during the lock down my skin cleared up using simply the ordinary balance set (the squalane cleanser & niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% & Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA). But then it flared up again and got really bad for about a year. Then i tried curology, with the personalized formula of azelaic acid 4% & clindamycin 1% & niacinamide 4% I am still using their product at the moment but i am not too sure as to what to think. it seems to be working as my skin does look a little more cleared up from previously. I need to find a routine that works with me and this is currently what i am thinking about purchasing 1) neutrogena hydroboost hydrating cleanser 2) the ordinary niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 3) the ordinary azelaic acid 10% suspension brightening cream 4) and just whatever moisturizer i have any thoughts on the idea? do you think it’ll work? any advice on potential products i should maybe use? i included pictures of my cheeks where the main point of my acne is. please give some advice.

Although the routine you plan on purchasing isn’t bad, it doesn’t address targrting acne. If you’re having active breakouts still I would definitely incorporate a salicylic acid product. If you’re just concerned about acne scars right now, I actually prefer using Vitamin C! It’ll treat surface level acne scarring (new ones basically) but if you’ve had severe scarring for a while then you’ll need to incorporate a retinol instead. Hope this wasn’t too confusing.
