Absolutely, yes you need it! You would have to apply tonnes of layers of foundation to get enough spf coverage - let's just say that would not be a good look š

Thanks for this comment, I didnāt knew about that! I have a BB cream which is SPF 50+ PA+++ from Tiara Gold and I did not put sunscreen under beforeā¦ But I reapplied a cushion with SPF or a sunstick during the day when I used it. (But I need practice with my reapplication, I sometimes forget š)

Yes!
When we apply makeup, we donāt apply it as evenly or as thick as we apply sunscreen.
According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, in order to adequately protect your skin, you need to apply at least one nickel size amount of SPF to your face.
Chances are we don't apply that much foundation.... š¤

Yes, your skin needs protection and your foundation alone won't do the part. Also, you have to reapply it when your foundation budged or been accidentally wiped off. The sunscreen should always be part of your skincare routine.

I agree with all the comments and also the amount of sunscreen in foundations are not enough to protect the skin and that is why the spf 50+ or more is recommended.
