There are no disadvantages to niacinamide. You can use it with any other actives and it shouldn't cause purging, but if your skin is sensitive, it's probably better to stick to 5% than using 10+%. ๐
Niacinamide helps with hyperpigmentation, makes the skin appear clear and brighter and controls sebum production. ๐

niacinamide is a great product for everything. it helps brighten, fade acne marks or dark spots, helps balance oil, helps with skin texture but also it helps the skin barrier in general and to strengthen it.
the disadvantages: I donโt really think there are any! with that being said, some people are sensitive to high percentages of it like myself. I canโt use a 10% niacinamide serum per say it makes my skin flush and become itchy. I like to use niacinamide when itโs in a formulation at lower percentages and mixed with over ingredients.

ok , niacinamide is a ingredient that mimic natural sebum present in out skin. this is also helps reducing pigmentation over time and also strengthen skin barrier and overall health.
so it regulates sebum production and helps making skin produce less oil. it also tends to reduce the appearance of pores .
always start with > 5% in any routine. you f you can use any moisturiser or toner beside using a serum first. it goes well with all the actives and do not cause purging in maximum users.
