i was curious about this too 😶
so i googled it, here’s the answer 👇🏻
“ it is safe to layer it with all types of AHA & BHA exfoliating acids due to the short contact time of the cleanser as this is washed off.”

I would do it, but I have pretty exfoliant-resistant skin. Toners are usually on the gentler side, and cleansers aren’t on your skin that long, so I’d give it a try. Maybe start out every other night if you want to be cautious!

Yes, it possible for you to do so since your cleanser is a wash off form meaning it won’t over exfoliate your skin due to the fact it is a short term contact. However, it is safe to use soothing or hydrating moisturizer afterwards to ensure that your skin is replenished and avoid dryness or irritation from the exfoliants.

hey after a little research i came to this conclusion: you can use an exfoliating toner like an AHA/BHA one with a BHA cleanser only if you have oily and acne prone skin since brands like Cosrx and BOJ have treatment toners in very gentle formula i think they're okay to use regularly!
