I've never actually cared about my skin before, but I did wear sunblock because I don't want to get skin cancer 😅 Until, I discovered the array off products available in the market and skin goals such as glass skin, honey skin, dewy skin etc exist. I was later involved into "serious" skincare devotion.

I start my skincare when i was 13. I just go to skincare stores and just use products recommended by the sales girl. But as i get older, my skin starts to breakout badly. I keep using the products eventhough its not effective.
But as i watch youtube and saw james welsh with his skincare, i knew what ingredients i should use and other types of brands and so much more. I followed his video and bought the products online. It made a huge difference to my skin and that is how i became a skincare junkie. I also start to learn about skincare slowly. At the same year i also found this picky app which helps me a lot more.

For me it was having terrible skin and realizing that being informed and knowing about lots of products gave me a way to be wayyy more knowledgeable. Also YouTube has been amazing! I love Kelly Driscoll, Cyrille Laurent, Alexis Stephens and no bs beauty

For me, it's reading all those skincare influencers reviews that I got so impressed I started buying Korean skincare🥰

I started doing skincare when I was in HS. I got bullied by my acne breakouts. I was called the Himalayas because I have a lot of acne on my face. I started by applying tinted sunscreen moisturizer and just washing my face. Then I followed Liah Yoo and Beauty within. It's really life changing.
