Sebaceous filaments and retinol

I heard that retinol can help clear sebaceous filaments. Is it true? I just bought InnisFree Retinol Cica Repair Ampoule and I’m not sure if it’s gonna help with my sebaceous filaments. I have oily skin and I have a lot of sebaceous filaments on my nose and chin. Will the InnisFree retinol serum helps?

Retinol is going to increase the skin cell production rate. In certain perspective, it's gonna help a bit in sebaceous filament by preventing them as it helps with reducing clogged pores . I'll say exfoliants are a more effective choice to remove the dead skin cells, which prevent pore clogging too. The above retinol is very gentle, hence the effect might not be obvious, especially for your concern. Perhaps, get a AHA/BHA toner will do.

I'll order them in sequence of least to most potent: somebymi, cosrx, Paula choice bha, skintific/jumiso, Paula chouce 8%, the ordinary. As you may noticed, the higher percentage means the product is more potent, and therefore more irritating. You can also consider other acids such as salicylic acid. If you wonder about the difference, simply search it up on the searchbar on top of discussion.
