Non-comedogenic/ Suggestions?

Hi Pickies!💕 I was hoping you could recommend me some non-comedogenic moisturizers for dry dehydrated skin? I'm not acne prone but I use Adapalene as well as Tretinoin- for "well-aging".. Plus a chemical exfoliant throughout the week to help maintain clear pores. Using these actives id think my pores would always be clear but that's just not the case. I have many different moisturizers that I've used/tried but I'm not sure which ones are considered non-comedogenic and I feel like my pores get congested easily, so your recommendations are greatly welcomed. Also if you have any suggestions on certain ingredients to avoid that may cause clogged pores, Id really appreciate it😊. Thanks in advance 💗

you can't really say if a product is comedogenic or not based on its ingredients because all of the ingredients are tested for on their own and so you can't predict how they act in combination with the other ingredients. with that out of the way, I'd recommend this moisturizer. it's a gel moisturizer and lightweight so I assume that it probably won't clog your pores!

thank you. this is an excellent moisturizer!💙- in fact its one of the very first moisturizers I purchased when I got into Korean skincare🥰. unfortunately it just wasn't moisturizing enough for my skin if I remember correctly😩. it still is an excellent choice though if I were to pair it with a good hydrating toner, essence or serum👌🏻

avoid ingredients like coconut oil, cocoa butter, and shea butter, as they can be comedogenic for some people.

dimethicone clogs my pores and many others who are acne-prone. That’s what I try to avoid it in my face cream, even if derms say it is not “comedogenic” lol I love this cream ❤️

I've heard about dimethicone possibly clogging pores myself..I didn't know derms said otherwise... & even if they do- you know your skin better than anyone😉! & the Purito moisturizer is a great recommendation👌🏻💚. I've had it in my cart for awhile now, but for some reason always end up getting something else🤦🏻‍♀️. Soon as I run out of what I currently have though, I think I'm going to go head and make the purchase since I've been wanting to try it out for quite some time😊

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream and La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer are both non-comedogenic and suitable for dry, dehydrated skin. They are also fragrance-free and formulated with gentle, hydrating ingredients that are unlikely to cause clogged pores or irritation. These moisturizers can help to hydrate and nourish the skin without exacerbating congestion or breakouts.

thank you for sharing😊. The CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is something I always have on hand and use💙 it works well and I do love it. I just felt that maybe it could have been contributing to congested pores athough I can't be certain. And the La Roche-Posay I've seen around a lot, just haven't tried it, I think it may be time that I do😊
