Scarrings/Hyperpigmentations

I have these products to help me with my scaring and hyperpigmentation. I am really sensitive I'm not sure how to incorporate these into my routines; when should I use them; what can I use together; what can I not mix; what should I take out/keep also how many times should I be using them. I'm sensitive and oily and i breakout easy so l'm kinda scared. Thoughts? Thank u 🀍

As a rule of thumb you shouldn't mix exfoliating acids with other exfoliating acids. That means you should not layer any products with AHA, BHA or PHA with any other products containing these same ingredients. 😊 You realistically also only need one exfoliating products. PHA and AHA are very similar as they remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. PHA is a little gentler than AHA and therefore recommended for sensitive skin! ✨️ BHA exfoliatiates both your skins surface as well as your pores, so it's recommended when you're struggling with blackheads! πŸ’– Based on this information you should pick one (maybe two) of your tagged products and use it 2-3 times each week at night after you cleansed your skin! 😊🩷 Now for the other actives. Tranexamic acid, azealic acid and niacinamide can all safely be used together. However I would just focus on one (or two) of the products you tagged and use them consistently. More is not always better and especially since you have sensitive you want to avoid overwhelming your skin with too much stuff! πŸ₯° Niacinamide is the most effective against scarring of the three and all of them work well against hyperpigmentation! πŸ’• You can use whichever product you tagged daily in the morning. Don't forget to apply sunscreen after! πŸ©·β˜€οΈ Now for mixing exfoliating acids with other actives. While it might be safe in some cases I would advise against it. Why? Because they are super easy to separate and you probably shouldn't play chemist on your sensitive skin. Just use your other actives in the morning and exfoliate at night! πŸ˜πŸ™Œ I hoped this helped! If you have any other questions feel free to ask! πŸ€—πŸ©·

I hope you don't plan to use all of themπŸ™ŠπŸ˜œ As many of these are acids. I would recommend exfoliation acid use max 2-3 times a week, especially with sensitive skin. I personally find it best to not use too many active ingredients on my skin in a week. So I would chose only a select few of these. You could do a schedual like Day 1: Acid/exfoliation day (choose 1 of the following: BHA Peeling, AHA/BHA Toner, Mandelic Acid Skin Prep Water, Aloe BHA Toner, Tranexamic Acid Serum OR Tone bright Ampoule) Day 2: rest day Day 3: rest day Day 4: Acid/exfoliation Day (Choose the same as day one's choice) Day 5: rest day Day 6: rest day Day 7: rest day Start with only using acids 2x a week once well tollerated you can increase it to 3x a week. Pay attention to your skin barrier. Using exfoliation acids too often can damage your skinbarrier. When choosing your acid to use note that Mandelic Acid is known to be one of the more gentle exfoliating acids for sensitive skin. This could be a great product to start with on the acid/exfoliation day. Use the efoliating acid product at night. Always make sure to use SPF during the day. If you do not use SPF then please never use acids/exfoliation cause it makes the skin more prone to burning, aging and skincancer as you exfoliate the top layer of the skin. SPF use is super important when doing this❗️ In your morning routine you can choose to use Niacinamide and/or Azelaic Acid depending on how your skin react to it.(Azelaic Acid unlike the other Acids can be used daily and is pretty gentle and great for Rosacea redness). Not everyonce skin is a fan of Niacinamide so try out and see how your skin responds. You could alternate, one morning Niacinamide and the other morning Azelaic Acid. You can use them both every day in the morning routine as well if your skin tollerates it, but as you have sensitive skin I would recomend staring with alternate days and see how that goes😊 Last not. I would recommend not beginning all these at the same time. If your skin get's irritated it is difficult to know what product causes is. So you could start with incorporating the exfoliation nights first, few weeks later add Niacinamide in mornings, and a few weeks after that start using Azelaic Acid. This way it will be easier for you to see how your skin responds to each product😊

Be mindful of active ingredients PHA, AHA, and BHA toners are chemical exfoliants, so using multiple of them together may be too harsh for your sensitive skin. Choose one exfoliating toner (such as the BENTON PHA Peeling Toner or COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner) and use it 2-3 times a week initially.

Consider a gentle exfoliant Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water is a milder exfoliating option suitable for sensitive skin. Start by using it once a week and gradually increase the frequency if your skin tolerates it well. You can incorporate the TIAM Vita B3 Source and The Inkey List Tranexamic Acid Serum into your routine. Apply them after cleansing and toning, but before moisturizing. Start by using them once a day, and if your skin tolerates them well, you can increase the frequency.
