Yes, hot/warm showers/baths have been known to trigger a flare-up with rosacea.
It's probably best for you to start taking cold to lukewarm showers from here on and find ways to help treat your rosacea and it's symptoms.

Yup, looks like my rosacea sometimes after a shower. Heat is a rosacea trigger. Take showers that aren’t so hot for starters. But also work on finding products and routines that will help manage your rosacea because then you will have less flare ups. Highly recommend using calming ingredients, ceramides, and azelaic acid.

I have been diagnosed with rosacea and your skin looks very similar to mine but keep in mind, consulting with a Dermatologist is always recommended.
I shower in warm water but I only use cool water to wash my face and rinse my hair. Warm/Hot water will only exaggerate the redness while drying out the skin. It's also terrible for drying out the scalp and hair fraying. Hot weather and spicy foods are triggers as well.

I would definitely try and have warm showers. Also if you don’t already, a shower filter may be beneficial 🥰

I had horrible redness after showering whenever I used harsh actives (that was before I went on Accutane) are you using anything that might be compromising your skin barrier?
