It depends on what you’re looking for. I generally don’t use toner pads because they are so wasteful, but if I’m gifted them, I’ll use them. I prefer to use the BHA/AHA ones for acne. Because the toner pads are soaked in the product, it essentially acts like a mini mask that I can leave on areas of my face that need it like a spot treatment as opposed to a regular toner that would absorb faster and dry down.

Seconded on both of these. I don’t mind having the hydrating ones for easy hydration when I’m traveling (esp for a quick moisture touch up while flying). Otherwise, the exfoliating ones are what I typically stick to.

Honestly, I don't understand the benefits. Now I use 2 toners (morning and evening) and they suit me perfectly. I bought some wonderful cotton pads and am very pleased! If you want to pour more toner or less. But with toner pads it’s not the same... Of the 4 different brands that I tried, only one type suited me, but I gave them to my daughter😅. In terms of convenience, toner pads are easier - take them and wipe your face.

I really like to travel with toner pads. Less chance of it leaking all over my other stuff.
I tend to go for exfoliating ones and calming ones.
