Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%

🌱 The Ordinary is a sub-brand of the Canadian (yay!) company Deciem. They provide very minimal, one or two ingredient formulas in strong concentrations to mix together or supplement other skincare products. 🌱 Claims: Alcohol-free, Paraben-free,...

🌱 Bottle and dropper packaging is not the most stable / hygienic 🌱 One-ingredient formula is strong, but lacks variety for full skin support

Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%

Just bought my second bottle. The only Vit C that I’ve tried and possibly the only one I plan on sticking with. No stinging or irritation and so helpful with managing PIH.

It is slightly sticky after application but its okay bc I layer other things over it anyway.

One of the best introductory vitamin C products at this price ✅ Mildly faded some hyperpigmentation ✅ Watery texture makes it feel very lightweight on the skin ✅ Gives a temporary smooth, plump appearance after applying ✅ Seldom caused irritation (ex...

L-ascorbic acid is better to use long term ❌ Slow-acting. Took 2 months to see any noticeable difference in my hyperpigmentation. It didn't seem to do anything from then on ❌ Ascorbyl glucoside is a water-based suspension meaning it runs a higher ris...

Even though it is just derivate and not pure l-ascorbic acid, i did see it worked on my face glow and my dark circles ubder eye!

It is great to introduce c citamin to your skin but not in a long term, i think. Will definitely need something with pure l-ascorbic acid after this.

A holy grail in my skin care! It’s amazing value for money, and more than that- it’s very effective. In fact I don’t think I realized how effective it was until I stopped using it for a bit and realized how dull my skin looked without it! I usually u...

For me, it worked perfectly fine
