It has added fragrace. Im glad it didnt bother my sensitive skin.

I’m sure most of you are no stranger to double cleansing. I myself have been double cleansing religiously when I wear foundation or SPF. Until I tried the WM5 Meltaway cleansing balm. This, my friend, is a double cleanser in 1. The texture is between a soap bar and raw coconut oil. You only need a tiny bit between the fingers and then rub onto a wet face. Unlike traditional balm which you go on dry, this one starts wet. It will turn milky as you rub a bit more with lukewarm water, and then your are done! Totally Cleansed. My face didn’t feel tight afterward. You get a feeling that a burden has been lifted off the skin, which is now free of skincare product or makeup, is relaxed and in a state of comfort. Just skin and nothing else. In no rush to apply my moisturizer as my skin felt totally balanced after cleansing. Quite a game changer. 

I did some research and found that there are shea butter, glycerin, vitamin E, ginger root extract, and other hydrating ingredients in this balm. Zero preservatives. However, there is added fragrance. I would very much prefer it without but I’m glad it didn’t bother my sensitive skin. 

Overall I am thrilled to reduce my skincare steps. My sensitive face is agreeing with this cleansing balm. I actually get a glow after cleansing. Will I buy this when I run out? Absolutely.

My experience: The first thing I noticed was the short and simple ingredient list, no microplastics and while I&#39;m not averse to preservatives, it&#39;s really impressive that they formulated this balm to be preservative-free yet still have a shelf life of 3 years and PAO 12M! Upon opening the jar I immediately noticed the perfume fragrance. However, when applied the scent is actually a lot lighter and not nearly as strong. Unlike most cleansing balms that have an oily slip, this one didn&#39;t feel as greasy. When water is added, it turned into almost a light foamy cleanser and washed off easily with no filmy residue! I did follow up with a 2nd cleanse, but felt like I could have skipped it!

Makeup removal: This did a pretty good job! I also did light makeup on my face and this removed waterproof gel eyeliner, lip tint, and foundation very well. I don&#39;t wear mascara so I didn&#39;t test on that.

This is a great cleansing balm with a simple ingredient list and no microplastics, so it&#39;s a plus in my book! I have enjoyed this so far and will test on heavier makeup! 😊

Nothing bad to me, but the added fragrance might be a concern for those who are sensitive to fragrance.

The texture of this cleanser is so nice, it feels like a moisturizer! It might feel a bit weird at first since it feels like you’re rubbing in some moisturizer in, but it was refreshing as it had a slight cooling effect as I spread this across my face.

The scent of this cleanser is also nice. It’s got a luxurious spa like scent that I couldn’t get enough of. 

Washing this off was so easy! A few rubs and everything came off. My skin felt so clean and refreshed without feeling stripped. The entire experience was amazing from the texture to the scent to washing it off. 
I think I have found my favorite cream based cleanser!
