101 C-Glow 15% Vitamin C Serum
• What is it:
a 30 ml serum with 15% pure vitamin C for 10.50 €
• Claim:
"give the skin environmental protection, boost collagen and even the skin tone"
Cruelty-free / vegan/ fragrance-free / essential oils free / gluten-free / Malassezia-safe / Pregnancy-safe
• Scent:
I would say it has a metallic smell
• How to use it:
store it in the fridge and apply on the face
• What I think about it:
I really like the formulation there is also ferulic acid and vitamin E (tocopherol) and no perfume or essential oils it's great.
The packaging is simple and cute and I love the light colors.
In addition 30 ml is good because the vitamin C oxidizes rather quickly we can not keep it very long. And there is also a mini empty bottle that you can buy separately to avoid detours with the fridge is convenient.
As for its texture it is very liquid almost like water. That's why you have to pat with your hands quickly because you can get it in your eyes if you are not careful ⚠️
For Me it was the first time I used vitamin c and so it stung at first but it should ne known that 15% is not the best for vitamin c beginners.
But otherwise it is easily and quickly absorbed by the skin not at all stickyand not greasy or thick at all.
I was able to see my dark spots fade faster I would say in 3-4 weeks I saw a difference (not big results obviously but it was still visible)
With a good routine and a sun cream it is effective against hyperpigmentation and acne scars (pigmented scars)
Unfortunately it is not recommended for sensitive skin and redness. It's true that 15% can be too strong for many people, especially me at first.
