I don't know what smell is this, but it is really good. The texture is a little bit watery or a mild peeling gel or normal cream. It absorbed fully into my skin and leave a smooth skin until the next morning. Even the day after that, my skin especially on my cheek area is no longer dull and harsh. After 2 months of using it, I can see that my skin looks brighter. The happiest thing is that the purging out is now gone forever!
