Do not be fooled by this lightweight watery serum, it is an oil serum and feels just like oil consistency on the skin. It does leave the skin looking shiny and greasy after application. It has a very heavy tea tree oil smell, and reminds me like the nutmeg ointment that local malaysians would use as a “treatment” for headaches and upset tummy. The serum bottles come with a good functional dropper, packaging design is simple and sleek. I used 5 drops of product when i started and decided to increase it to 8 drops to just try out its effects. It did not cause me any irritation but when using 8 drops my face felt taut. I realised tea tree oil can be drying so i layered 2 layers of moisturiser and the tight feeling went away. I had a pimple near my eye area and to my pleasant surprise, the next day the pimple flattened! This serum has very simple ingredients, only 3, caprylic triglyceride, isoamyl laurate and tea tree leaf oil. It is simple, yet effective ! It became a new holy grail product for my acne prone skin! I strongly recommend acne prone skin to get this serum, and not using pure tea tree essential oil because i have seen someone over tiktok using it for “acne treatment” and suffered a chemical burn. This product is safe and effective !
