đ Review:
These days many skincare products have Hyaluronic Acid in their ingredient list because of its intense hydration and skin plumping qualities. But, Hyaluronic Acid is like a double edged sword. It adds moisture to the skin from the environment but sometime it can also suck out the moisture from the skin in certain conditions. The packaging is stunning. I honestly can't recall having anything so blue and vibrant in my skincare closet. The bottle has a gradient effect going on and is made of solid glass. I personally get goosebumps with glass packaging as I'm very clumsy. But on the brighter side this glass is actually environmental friendly. The dropper is by far the longest one I have used. It works really well to pick up the essence. Since this is an essence it is viscous with a hint of milky color. I dreaded this too feel sticky and heavy on the skin but I was surprised how easily this just absorbed into the skin without any hint of tacky residue. Moreover it didn't cause any breakout or exaggerate the appearance of pores. This sits really well under sunscreen and foundation. It doesn't clump nor does it makes the makeup patchy. The product comes in a high-concentrated slimy viscous milky white texture that easily glides in and easy-spreadable. It doesn't have a scent so that's a plus for those who are sensitive to overwhelming scent and fragrance. In my experience, I need to use this right after toner because adding a layer of watery-serums makes it leave my skin a more sticky finish. This has helped me as an additional layer of hydration and I've not broken out from using this one. Isntree's Hyaluronic Acid Water Essence is hydrating enough for an essence, essences are supposed to be lightweight but I guess most essences now work like serums and ampoules. I skipped using serums recently because of these types of essences. But I wouldn't skip moisturizers as essences aren't still on that level. If you need a hydrating booster then I'd recommend this essence.
â 8 types of Hyaluronic Acid: for moisture replenishment with small, medium, and large molecules.
â Opuntia Ficus-Indica Seed Oil: rich in Linolenic Acid, this oil forms a lightweight yet strong moisture shield for a rich moisturizing effect.
â NMF (Natural Moisture Factors): Betaine, Sodium PCA, Beta-Glucan, and Panthenol.
Hyaluronic Acid Water Essence contains 8 Hyaluronic Acids, namely:
⢠Sodium Hyaluronate
⢠Hyaluronic Acid
⢠Sodium-Hyaluronate Crosspolymer
⢠Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid
⢠Ascorbyl Propyl Hyaluronate
⢠Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate
⢠Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
⢠Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate.
đ How to Use:
I use it after toner and since it has a viscous consistency I make sure to use lightweight essences first before applying this one. You can use it night and day.
Although, there were times that applying this sting my skin maybe because of some fresh wounds from my redness, which I'm not sure of worrying about it.
