Mayday Healing Toner Pad
✅ Has option to buy it pre-soaked in toner or dry
✅ Hygienic packaging
I bought this as a set, dry pads and then the toner since I find that it's a much better value for my money. I decided to post this review because it's basically the same(right??) and I wanted the review to focus more on the pads themselves.
The toner has 210mils and the pre-soaked pads are said to have 160mils. A video on their shop shows that it is pretty soaked up in a decent amount of toner(I'll try to put a pic, for reference). I personally haven't opened the toner up yet so what I do is take a pad and soak it with one of the many samples I got.
Back with the pads, this doesn't look like your typical cotton pads. It seemed tissue-y looking, much more like a medical gauze in a sense. It's quite thin but it holds the toner(liquid) quite well. I think it's perfect for what it is, a soothing toner pad, hence the name. I like the softness of it, it's not harsh on the skin and the material doesn't allow the toner to evaporate quickly making you have ample time for you to really maximize the effects it has. I liked the size of it as well, it covers a wide area but you can also cut it up to fit wherever you want to put it.
Since the ones I bought are seperate products, I'll quickly review the toner... to put it simply it's a very soothing and hydrating toner. Really helps calm my skin in cases I have hormonal breakouts(you can read my separate full review abt it). I wouldn't say these are necessary products but it's nice to have for pampering. It's a sensory thing I'd say.
Nothing bad to say about this, I think it's great for what it is.
