I received 5 sheet masks for a discounted price through 0.8l for my honest review. The Cica Biome Serum Mask is a mildly acidic serum mask that helps balance skin’s microbiome for a vibrant, healthy complexion. Probiotics+Prebiotic+Boosting ingredients like lactobacillus extract and Bifida ferment, helps maximize the effects of skin microbiome to maintain healthy skin and repair the skin barrier. These ferments with 4 kinds of centella asiatica extract are combined into a unique “Cica-Biome” formula to provide intensive care for sensitive skin from external stimuli with just one sheet. Key Ingredients: Glycerin: Moisturizer and humectant Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5): Soothes and moisturizes Chinaberry Extract: Emollient, contains anti-acne & anti-aging properties Tremella Mushroom: Bio-hyaluronic acid that is more moisture binding than hyaluronic acid Aquaxyl: Moisturizing compound that retains hydration & boosts production of hyaluronic acid Centella Asiatica: Contains Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiaticoside & Asiatic Acid Avocado Fruit Extract: Soothing Topopherol (Vitamin E): Antioxidant, protects skin from free radicals Purslane: Antioxidant with skin soothing properties Texture: It is your standard microfiber sheet mask, soaked in Cica-Biome essence. The mask fits okay and stays on well. Label says it is a “Vegan” sheet. Packaging: Green and White pouch with a picture of their Serum with a good amount of extra serum. The packaging states “Whole Bottle of I like Cica Biome Serum included” but I’m not sure what they mean here as the serum is 30ml. Maybe it means the mask is soaked in a bottle of the serum? My Review: I used this face mask after cleansing and toning. I kept it on for about 20 minutes, then gently patted the remaining essence onto my skin for additional hydration. The mask is nice and cooling when wearing and it does stay put (pretty much). The fit was good from my forehead down to the nose area. Unfortunately, the mouth hole is really big and the bottom part of the mask kept slipping under my chin, which was a little irritating. I didn’t notice any fragrance and my skin felt quite soothed and soft. The serum absorbs easily and there is enough serum to hydrate the face and neck after using the mask. I like the idea that a sheet mask can restore the skin's proper oil balance by repairing skin's natural moisture barrier & promoting a healthy skin biome, but unsure of the effectiveness after only using two masks. They are available on Amazon for $3 per mask. I think they would be good for all skin types.
