Nourishing Care Lip Sleeping Pack
I had heard positive things from a couple of beauty bloggers about Klavuu’s lip mask, so I decided to give it a try.
Some people rave about the Laneige mask and hate the Klavuu one and some people feel the opposite way, I’m here to hopefully settle the argument by saying this : BOTH products are actually good, but they’re good depending on what your expectations are and how badly chapped your lips are.
The Laneige mask is sticky and gooey, it also lasts all night long and I always wake up with all of the product still on my lips.
As for the Klavuu mask, it feels nourishing and glides well on the lips, it has a much thinner consistency, a less sticky texture, and rubs off easily, so people who hate the texture of vaseline, for example, will probably like this pack. It’s also gooier but less shiny than the Laneige mask.
Overall, if you have normal or moderately dry lips, the Klavuu one is probably a better choice since it’s less expensive, I prefer it to everyday lip balms because the application process feels more luxurious and the texture is a bit more enjoyable than that of your everyday vaseline or chapstick products.
If you have chronically extremely dry chapped lips like me, and you’ve tried a plethora of lip moisturising products, and you find your lips are still dry and chapped , then you will probably prefer the Laneige mask.
The Laneige formula is much more occlusive than the Klavuu one, and its active ingredients lists focus on ingredients with ‘wound healing’ properties rather than nourishing and hydrating ones found in the Klavuu pack.
Some products might work for others but not for you, and vice versa. My personal opinion is that the Laneige mask delivers more hydration and has better staying power.
