This is an emulsion that is geared to helping heal skin burns, lesions, etc. I use it if I've over exfoliated. I use this emulsion in place of cream for a few nights and my skin heals super fast and gets my skin barrier back to normal. I always have one in my stash as an emergency cream. It's super affordable in France, around 6 euros but you can also purchase it in the States around 20 dollars. A little goes a long way.
