IMIM - skintrovertt review for Intensity Moisturizing Cream

I was given the choice to review one of two products, either this Intensity Moisturizing Cream, or their Firming + Sculpting Neck Cream, based on my skin concerns I chose the face hydration option! 🤩 this is a thick cream, it initially feels heavy but absorbs after a few minutes! I have no complaints with any irritation, it does just have a semi-awkward scent. Almost like if unscented actually had a scent….ya know what I mean? 🤨 all in all though, I enjoy this! 💕 ✨ Benefits: strengthens + protects skin barrier, intensely hydrates + helps improve fine lines from dry skin Let’s put on our scientist coats for this ingredient lesson 👩🏻‍🔬 🧪 Cyclopentasiloxane is a common ingredient found in cosmetics - it is a silicone additive that allows products to spread easier + feel silkier when applied 🧪 Alcohols (YES, there are good ones in skincare!!) like Butylene Glycol + Cetearyl Alcohol are fatty alcohols that moisturize your skin 🧪 Pentaerythrityl Tetraisosearate (even my phone doesn’t know this word 🤨) is another common cosmetic ingredient that serves as a thickening + binding agent Now that we made it through those main ingredients! Also included ⬇️ 🫒 Olive Fruit Oil nourishes + moisturizes the skin 🌼 Daisy Flower Extract has components that work as tyrosinase inhibitors (naturally suppresses melanin production) + reduces the appearance of dark spots 💦 Squalane + HA hydrate - you know the deal with these two 😉
