Menturm the Sun Watery Essence Perfect UV SPF50+
I had high hopes for this, and it didnโt disappoint! I love it.
โ๏ธFilters: Chemical (Octinoxate, Uvinul T 150, Uvinul A Plus)
๐งTexture: This comes out as a yellowish gel-type sunscreen. I would say it is slightly thicker than their gel-type sunscreen, but it is still very lightweight.
๐๐ปApplication: Due to the alcohol content in this, it glides very easily over my skin and sinks in very quickly. I spend only about a minute to rub 2-3 finger lengths of this sunscreen into my skin.
๐จPerformance: It holds up well throughout the day and doesnโt pill, though I think it is not waterproof. I only use this indoors, so i cant speak for its UV blocking abilities out in the sun and while doing sports.
๐ธFragrance: It does not have added fragrance. However, it has a very strong alcohol smell initially that dissipates quickly.
๐ฒPrice: Super affordable! I got this for only S$9.80 for 80ml.
1. High alcohol content, might irritate dry or sensitive skin types. Alcohol fragrance can also be overbearing for some.
2. Not sure about its SPF claims, since it only uses 3 filters. But I only use this indoors so it doesnโt really matter to me.
3. Stings the eyes, especially after reapplication.
