ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer
Though I have dry/dehydrated skin (mainly dehydrated during the summer months as I do sweat and produce more oil during the hot weather), I found this moisturizer quite effective in keeping my skin plump and bouncy. I was afraid that it wouldn’t be enough due to the lightweight texture and the quick absorbtion of the product into the skin, but I have to say it never left my skin feeling tight after a few hours (which happens when a cream doesn’t deliver enough hydration to my skin).
I used a mini of 15ml and it lasted me quite some time as well. Around a month of use twice daily.
It kept my skin clear of acne caused my sweating under a mask which I was suprised to find out as usually the only active that effectively does that for my skin is salicylic acid.
It has quite a potent scent of citrus peels so I wouldn’t suggest it to skin that’s sensitive to fragrance oils as they are listed quite high in the inci (bergamot fruit oil and orange peel oil if I’m not mistaking). The scent lingers for around 10 minutes but I find it dissipates after that. For me, it’s a relaxing scent but I would not reccomend it to everyone.
The first three / four applications, it tingled a little bit as it has a higher concentration of Lactic Acid, so if your skin is sensitive, I’d skip this entirely or maybe would build up to it instead of diving right in as I did.
The price tag is the biggest con to me, though. I have another mini that I’m saving for when my skin is in worse condition, but after that, it’ll be a hard pill to swallow if I were to repurchase a full size. Granted, 15ml lasted me long, but still… It’s a luxury price tag.
