With all the hype, I definitely was interested in reviewing this little strange beauty product. Looking up the Amazon page, Avajar V Lifting Masks claim to firm & lift up the jawline. Tightening up the skin using a combo of great ingredients that contribute to the reshaping of the chin; Caffeine (Anti cellulite, calms irritation, removes body fat & reduces swelling), Glaucine (Aids caffeine & helps elasticity), Phosphatidycholine (used in plastic surgery to dissolve fat cells!) & Tataric Acid. (Helps with absorption & PH balance!) One thing I must stress is that these masks are COSMETIC with a BENEFIT that with prolonged usage can contribute to longer-lasting results. Daily use may help aid in the overall reduction OVER TIME. They will NOT be a permanent "one-time miracle cure." 1 mask lasts about 12 hours. (Depending on the person.) Just something to note, seeing that many people have judged harshly based on this alone! It's a face mask, come on people!! With all this being said, this little chin-strap worked WONDERS for my jawline. I wore mine for 3 hours, binge-watching some True Crime and I definitely saw instant results. Longer you keep the mask on, the better the result. As far as I understand. 👉🏻MY EXPERIENCE: First impression, it felt a little minty. Like a "cooling & refreshing" sensation. Scent was a nice floral, slightly medicinal but nothing overbaring. Reminiscent of eucalyptus but you really have to smell it to find it. The cool feeling dulled down a bit after 30 mins. Afterwards, I started feeling as if I was having heat flashes on/off. Like I just finished working out!! Those "chills" that run all over your body, making you feel like you're sweaty. Lol The sensation is pretty tolerable but noticeably there. 👉🏻APPLICATION: Application was easy, despite the negatives above. Tip: When applying the mask, start at your chin and pull UP towards the ears. Worked so much better than going from one ear to the other. Also, it just makes sense that way--pulling up instead of tugging down. 👉🏻OVERALL: After I opted for the mask extender, my experience was very pleasant. My ears stopped screaming & the mask itself was very comfortable even when adhered with the sticky bandage wrap underneath. No spillage, no horrible residue. Even with the "heat flashes" it was still pretty decent an experience. (I say heat flash but I take it the stuff inside was causing just such a reaction?) Cleanup was very simple, too. Just pleasant all over. Since the mask was taunt over my jaw for a few hours, removal felt like heaven! Hahaa That sudden relief, well worth the wait! Hahaa 👉🏻FINAL WORDS: My results speak for themselves. The before/after really blew me away. I never knew my jawline was so "square" until I used this V firming mask. I definitely can see this being a big deal for specific occasions like wedding days or some other event where you'd want to look your best. Since this is a mask that lasts for X amount of hours with one usage--Those immediate results will come quite handy. ☆☆☆☆☆ I rate this a 5/5 on the great mask scale. Primarily because immediate results (especially with cosmetic masks!) are so hard to achieve with one use. And not only does one mask do the job, this pack comes with 5!
