Peptide Serum with Matrixyl 3000 Argireline
🌸 This serum contains Matrixyl 3000 (palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7) and Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-8) and claims to improve the appearance of wrinkles and add elasticity to the skin.
🌸 Other goodies in this serum include camellia sinensis extract (antioxidant), skin soothers like aloe and beta glucan, niacinamide for brightening and sodium hyaluronate and glycerin for hydration.
🌸 This is a clear, viscous and scentless serum, slightly tacky upon application, but it does absorb in minutes. I usually use this in my evening routine, except when I use an AHA because they’re said to make peptides less effective.
🌸 I’m halfway through this bottle after about a month of use and while I think it’s too early to tell what it does for wrinkles, I do like the skin softening and elasticity it gives me, which for me points to it being effective in the long term.
🌸 This also costs about a third of my previous peptide serum, the Klairs, which I loved but it’s also just half this volume.
Nothing bad to say but as with most anti-aging products, long term use is best to observe results
