AHA 10% + BHA 2%
Exfoliation time!
I came across this serum from Thai brand The Skin Collection on Instagram and was tempted to try it out.
This 10 % AHA 2 % BHA chemical exfoliation serum comes in a dropper/pipette bottle. Other ingredients include glycerin, panthenol, allantoin, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, which are humectants and soothing.
I use it about 1- 2 times per week and find that it works well to remove the top dead layers of my skin and keep my pores free of waxy sebum build-up. As far as the blackheads on my nose, the BHA does seem to help a bit, though the most stubborn ones still hang around ๐คฅ
Texture wise this is really sticky and gooey, so it takes a while to absorb into the skin. The packaging is my biggest gripe as the serum sticks to the outside of the dropper making it hard to control the amount.
Whilst not the most elegantly formulated serum, and the above packaging issues could be improved this is an effective and affordable product 139 THB/approximately 5 USD
For those sensitive to fragrance and essential oils, be aware the serum has citronellol, geraniol, citrus sinensis oil and D-limonene.

As mentioned, this has a really sticky and gooey texture making the user experience less than desirable ๐
I'm also not a fan of how the serum sticks to the outside of the dropper, as it makes it a hassle trying to dispense the amount you want.
Since my initial review I've also noticed that the 10 % AHA sometimes is way too much for my skin. It leaves a stinging, burning sensation that does dissipate after about 30-60 seconds.
