Moisturizing Balm
This moisturizer can be used both during the day and at night. The texture is slightly goopy and I think this is because of the niacinamide content.
The ingredient list contains a lot of promising ingredients with potentially beneficial effects. As the main moisturizer of Lumin's brand line, this cream aims to be multifunctional by doing a little bit of everything. It contains moisturizing meadowfoam seed oil and shea butter as well as niacinamide and licorice root extract which aid in evening out the skin tone. The green tea leaf extract offers some antioxidant properties.
β The product has quite a long ingredient list. It does contain several botanical extracts which may be potentially sensitizing. I''ve personally experienced a mild irritation by using this. It does contain fragrance although it is listed at the very end of the ingredient list.
The cream does not help a lot in reducing the transepidermal water loss (TWL). I found that by using this cream at night, my skin felt dry and thirsty when I woke up in the morning.
