I received this product at a highly discounted price through 0.8l in exchange for my honest review. The Skin House Aloe Snail Mucin Gel has a slimy gel texture and the combination of Aloe Vera and Snail mucin helps soothe and calm irritated or blemished skin. Key Ingredients: ▪️Aloe Vera Extract helps protect the skin from damage ▪️Snail Mucin helps protect skin from moisture loss ▪️Ginseng revitalizes & renews skin ▪️Camu camu extract helps to diminish fine lines ▪️Glycerin ▪️Niacinamide ▪️Several botanical extracts including lavender, honeysuckle, açaí, etc. Texture: clear slightly slimy jelly-like texture, with a lavender or floral scent. Packaging: 50ml plastic tube with flip top, came sealed My Review: I really like using products with snail mucin, so was excited to try this gel. You have to take care when using this product as it is easy to dispense too much due to the sticky slimy texture. It applies very smoothly, but it does take a few minutes to dry out on the skin. I thought it was a little sticky right after applying but that tackiness goes away once the product absorbs completely. My skin feels soft and moisturized right after applying, and it does a good job of calming redness and inflammation. Unfortunately if you have dry, dehydrated skin, you definitely need to apply moisturizer afterwards in order to seal in the moisture. This would be a good product for oily or acne prone skin, but I would not recommend for sensitive skin due to all of the botanical extracts and added fragrance. For the price, ($8.99 on Amazon) this is a nice soothing gel and a good way to get the benefits of snail mucin without spending too much money.
