My thoughts & Experience I started using this lip serum before bed, I had read reviews that it helps chapped lips, but it did nothing for mine. I didn't notice that my lips were any more plump. After using for a week I noticed a little redness around the edge of my lips, I was unsure if it was from the serum or just my dry lips, I decided to used the serum one more time. When I woke up the next morning the redness had spread half way to my nose. I stopped using immediately and the redness was gone in a couple days. After going over the ingredients again I noticed there are 2 forms of alcohol in the serums. As I try to stay away from alcohol in my skincare products I can definitely see the alcohol being the irritant in this serum for me.
