It does have a scent and while I didn’t find it to be overpowering some certainly will as it does linger. It’s citrusy and reminds me of orange juice. You do not need much, maybe a pea size amount. It goes on smoothly but takes quite awhile to fully absorb. I have combination skin that leans more dry these days and I found this to be just to think. I felt like my skin couldn’t breathe when I wore. When worn during the day my face would appear shiny, not in the good glow kind of way, and would pill. If wearing under makeup use this sparingly This did not cause any irritation or cause me to break out. I would recommend this to anyone who has dry and dehydrated skin but I would not recommend to anyone who is acne prone or has oily skin.
