enne review for 2X First Light Essence

this was an impulse purchase i made when i saw it was on a clearance sale—i came in without any expectations or knowledge of it, and holy crap i am blown away. key ingredients: ☀️ sea water ☀️ algae extract ☀️ hydrolysed collagen ❎ fragrance free ✅ alcohol free 🔹 packaging: simple transparent plastic bottle with a grey screw cap. it has the effect of metal on glass and makes the product look way more premium than it actually is. the plastic makes it a lot more usable since i don’t have to worry about its fragility. 🔹 texture: very viscous with tiny blue bubbles in it that they call microbubbles™ but it’s not sticky at all and pretty much turns watery upon application. very lightweight and absorbs very fast, with a non-greasy non-tacky finish. the colour is a little cloudy from the bottle. 🔹 scent: strong scent that’s very fresh and clean, kinda like the sea 💰 price: ~30SGD for 200ml (shopee) [i got it for $6 🤭] 🗣 thoughts: my dehydrated skin chugs this up. i absolutely love just how hydrating it is. i use a single layer of this in the am, and with the rest of my routine it provides just the right amount of hydration that my skin needs. my skin is plump and bouncy and whatever dryness i get from cleansing is gone immediately. the thicker texture means that a little goes a long way too, and makes spreading quick and smooth. you don’t get spills that goes to waste. the scent is strong but it’s such a pleasant and invigorating smell to me and makes the entire experience better. despite the presence of oils in it, it does not leave an oily finish. i would recommend this to people with non-sensitive skin, optimal for dehydrated skin.
