Rainbow Mask
The mask is full of goodness (I caution, however, that this mask is not appropriate for folks with sensitive skin—first, the mask is fragranced; but also, the ingredients curiously include peanut oil, a very popular allergen).
My skin does not have an issue with the fragrance or any of the other ingredients in this mask, so I do like to reach for it when my skin needs “all the things”. I know that I have said this elsewhere, but I love The Crème Shop masks because they contain quality extracts, not many chemical “filler” ingredients, and the active extracts tend to be near the top of the ingredients’ list. This Rainbow Mask is no different. The Rainbow Mask essence boasts cranberry, papaya, avocado and blueberry fruit extracts along with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and retinol. You can see the benefits that these extracts purport to deliver by scrolling left!
Mask application is great—The Crème Shop masks have a nice thick, printed sheet that is soaked in a viscous, fragranced essence; there is very little essence left in the sachet following application. As I said, the essence is fragranced, but the fragrance is not at all overwhelming—I would describe the smell as pleasantly evoking citrus candy.
Following application, my skin feels plumped and hydrated for sure; it definitely looks radiant. What makes this mask one of my favorites though is the way my skin still looks radiant and even, even days after application! I imagine the skin strengthening/collagen boosting ingredients are responsible; but either way, this mask will continue to be a Fall “go to” for when I’m needing all the things!
I wish The Creme Shop had a fragrance-free version of this mask for folks with sensitive skin/allergies. Otherwise, it is perfect!
