Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Face Stick-Fragrance Free
This is my first experience with mineral based sunscreen but I've seen enough yt videos to know what I was in for cast wise. This is a broad spectrum spf 50 mineral sunscreen so it gives a good protection and you can clearly see if you have missed any spots which is nice. It's 19.2 % zinc oxide and very gentle around the eye area which is where I use it since my eyes can't tolerate chemical sunscreen filters very well. No stinging or buring around the eye lids or underneath the eyes when applied. Since it's a stick formula it's very convenient to have in a purse or pocket for on the go use. It also dosn't dry down hard so you're not racing the clock to smooth it into place before it dries. Its more of a semi matte finish on me and I have normal to dry skin on my face.
It's mineral so besides the white cast on my brown skin it can aslo apply in chunks sometimes. However the minimal clumps that comes up are easily smoothed away since its not a hard dry finish on my skin. Since I use this for my eyes I look like I'm wearing a reverse Zorro mask on my face.
I paid about $10 usd at cvs for this stick but a tube would be more cost effective just less convenient.
Since its not a super matte dry finish I find that it settles into fine lines on my face especially my eye area. If you have experince with a "moveable" concealer that also settles into fine lines and you tap at the skin until it blends back in then it's the same thing here. The harsh white line dissappears back into the skin (but dosn't go clear)
