Love how gentle and non irritating this exfoliant felt on my skin! I did not experience any stinging or tingling sensation. Even on the areas where my skin was dry and flaky. Plus, my skin loves Mandelic Acid.
I can only tolerate BHAβs in cleansers or at very low percentages. However, I find that BHA at low percentages doesnβt do much for my skin. But when I use BHA at 2% my skin would feel dehydrated/tight for up to 3-4 days (The struggles π) However, this is the first chemical exfoliant with 2% BHA that did not make my dehydration worse!
I had to use this exfoliant consecutively for two nights to see good results. This did a wonderful job at resurfacing my overall skin texture. My skin definitely looked smoother. Helped buff away dry patches and flaky skin. The small random bumps on my forehead appeared less protruding.
In terms of pores, I didnβt see a big difference in the size of my pores. But, I do have the most stubborn pores that just never budge or go away. However, it did a decent job at maintaining the congestion.
Overall, I like it. I appreciate the low percentages. It was perfect for my sensitive and dehydrated skin.
The only downside was the strong rosemary scent. No difference in the size of my pores.
