☀️ Today's review is covering the @aprilskin_global Vitamin Ace Brightening Serum. It is a 20% Vitamin A, C, and E serum that claims to brighten the skin tone in only 7 days. ☀️ Packaging: Beautiful opaque, metallic airless red pump bottle. 30mL. I like the shine on this and I know it serves a dual purpose of protecting the product from oxidation. ☀️ Ingredients: Swipe for a full list. The 20% Antioxidant Vitamin Complex is the main inci here, and is made of a highly concentrated vit c (brightening). Also has vit e and b5 (absorption, efficacy and freshness). It is FREE from synthetic colors, fragrance, gluten, sulfates, parabens, alcohol and mineral oils! ☀️ Texture and Scent: This is a super watery, yellow tinted serum. It soaks into my skin quickly but does leave me a bit tacky and dewy. I am not a fan of the smell- its similar to many vit C's with a herbal/hot-dog watery smell XD ☀️ Reenee Rates It: 3.75/5- I'm struggling to see too much change in my skin other than immediate plumpness and dewyness in only one week. I have had some skin irritation with this too, as its a very strong formulation for my skin. But it's calmed down for the most part. While I don't personally see much change in 7 days, I do hope to see more change with a longer period of usage. I'll continue to use this! The scent lingers a bit long for my preference too, but usually I can ignore it. This is quite hydrating, and does provide a nice instant boost of brightness right after use.
