Purifying Cleanser
This cleanser is so good I wish I could give it a thousand stars.
I was in the midst of purging when I started this. In combination with some other products, I feel that this cleanser has kept my skin clean and increased the speed of turnover/acne going away.
My skin is combo with sensitive eyes and sensitivity to fragrance. It’s been a week now: no new breakouts, no irritations, feels good, and no stripping!
Highlights:
- Oils aren’t usually my thing as they run and feel messy to use. This gel-to-oil is a game-changer that’s finally got me enjoying massaging my face. 😍
- Since the oil stays clear on my hands, I can see some of the stuff that’s come off my face after massaging. (Some are from product, but if you’ve ever squeezed some blackheads you’ll know how to recognize those, and it’s incredibly satisfying to spot bits of them knowing they dislodged just from some massaging!)
⁕ Texture: Starts as cool gel. Rub onto dry skin and turns to oil.
⁕ Scent: The mix of botanical ingredients reminds me of chai tea. Super lovely 🌿
⁕ Use: Face feels well cleansed but not stripped!
This cleanser is such a joy to use even my roommate has been converted 🤩
I’m now eyeing the Clarifying Cleanser to try next.
Only 2 things I can think of:
- The oil doesn’t fully wash off, it keeps my skin feeling plump but feels a bit much for starting routines with. I follow up with a toner that’s mildly astringent/exfoliating so it’s not an issue.
- Scent may be too much for some. I personally like it and it didn’t set off any irritations even though I’m sensitive to scents.
