Avoskin Miraculous Retinol Toner. Texture & Scent ✨ The texture is runny and viscous. It has a little sour fermented smell. Packaging 📦 100ml amber plastic bottle. PAO 12M. 💭💭💭 This was my first time with retinol. For a beginner, Avoskin recommends applying this toner once a week. I can only use it once because I received it late and have 10 days before the review deadline (and I have to alternate with their Retinol sheet mask). This toner was used at night. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of viscous toner. This toner left a tacky feel on my skin, yet it was hydrating and nourishing at the same time. The tackiness remained even with a gel moisturiser, but because I used it at night, it wasn't a big deal for me. The next morning, I woke up with soft and plump skin. I also saw that a few pimples had appeared. And the one that already existed was fully formed. So, I'm not sure if this is purging(?) or simply my skin having negative reaction to this toner 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'll keep using this toner and rewrite this review in 3-6 months. I'm hoping to notice improvements, especially when those fine lines start to appear 🙈 ✴️✴️✴️ Update after using it for 3 months. 🌻 The toner does not leave a tackiness on my skin like it did the first time I used it. 🌻 Although it takes time to absorb, it instantly hydrates my skin. 🌻 In the first month, I used it once a week, then twice a week in the second month. When I was in the third month, I tried 3x each week. 🌻 My skin is not drying when I use it three times a week, but I do notice a decrease in hydration. So, I've gone back to 2x each week. 🌻 Since I started using this retinol toner, my skin has been incredibly smooth and soft. 🌻 I'm not sure if I'm purging or not; I used to only have hormonal acne, but they've visited during non-menstrual times as well, and it is closed comodones now. 🌻 I've noticed that my pores are less visible and my skin is brighter. Or, at the very least, not as dull when I'm on my mensus.
