It's been two weeks since I've used this line, and I'm pleased to report they perform well. These products work well alone, with other skincare brands; and with one another, they can help speed up the healing process of acne inflammation or breakouts. (See photos for before & after).
πTea Tree CICA Soothing Cream 100ml
What it is: An intense hydrating soothing cream that soothes sensitive skin and strengthens skin barrier to protect against bacteria and other environmental aggressors.
The cream is a lightweight, almost gel consistency lotion. It literally sinks into your skin without any rubbing or tugging and feels silky and nourishing when applied. This is super soothing and not too rich so perfect for day time use. However, it is a little lacking in the evening so I followed up with a heavy moisturizer. It's non-irritating and left me with a nice dewy and fresh look, without greasiness. There is a noticeable difference between swelling and redness and a simple breakouts after 1-3 uses, depending on severity. Itβs definitely a great no-frills moisturizer to have on hand.
They've worked as expected for someone with sensitive & acne-prone skin (providing treatment while still being gentle enough for regular use - given the low acidity pH of all of the products used and lack of harsh chemical agents). This line could be beneficial if you have mild to moderate acne.
