What makes me the happiest is that Iunik and many other K-Beauty brands spread the minimalist skincare philosophy, with an emphasis on amazing ingredients. ______ Enough chit chat here is the main event. The Rose Galactomyces Essential Toner is formulated with 10% galactomyces fermentation water and 70% rose water. 🌷Rose water has a lot of skin benefits. It helps to maintain the skin’s pH-balance and known to help fight skin problems such as acne, dermatitis and eczema due to its anti-inflammatory properties. On top of that hydrates, revitalises and moisturises. 🔬Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate is a well loved k-beauty ingredient that was made popular by a Japanese brand SK-II product SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. And it is said to help with skin issues such as acne, pore size, oil/sebum control, uneven tone, improvement of skin texture, signs of aging, as well as dry skin. _____ The consistency is quite watery, so it’s easy to get out of the bottle. It absorbs quickly (with no stickiness left behind), while leaving enough time to apply evenly. The natural rose scent is not something I am used to, but I guess it’s an acquired taste. _____ Conclusion: I have to say I don’t expect anything other than a good dose of hydrating and a bit soothing effect from toners so despite not seeing any significant difference regarding oiliness and pores I really like this product and am very interested in trying their other ones too!
