This was my very first experience with a Purlisse product and I must say I am beyond impressed. This serum BB cream is a hybrid between a skincare and a makeup product that not only simplifies your routine and saves you time, but also performs both of its functions flawlessly. First of all, I am amazed at how well the fair shade matched my skin tone since it’s usually a struggle for me to find a product shade light enough. Next I was pleasantly surprised by how beautifully natural the medium coverage it provided looked and the unbelievable glow it delivered. Admittedly, I am normally a fan of matte finish, but with some setting powder over it, even I loved the luminous complexion it left me with. It also has fantastic staying power - it looked as smooth and flawless at the end of the day as it did when I first applied it in the morning. And let’s not forget the wonderful skin benefits it provides with Bakuchiol working to reduce discoloration, combat fine lines and wrinkles and firm the skin, Algae Collagen improving the elasticity, plumping and hydrating the skin and Vitamin C tackling hyperpigmentation and protecting the skin from damaging free radicals. I also love the fact that it provides SPF 40 protection. This BB cream is perfectly comfortable to wear all day long and I feel it’s hydrating enough for me to be able to wear it as a standalone product during the summer, however I would wear it over a moisturizer in the colder months. All in all I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight medium coverage product that works to improve the skin’s condition while delivering gorgeous natural finish and healthy glow.
